Nadia Medina '08 - Playing With the Big Boys

Organized chaos is how Nadia Medina descibed her communications internship with the NBA's Los Angeles Clippers. Responsible for dealing with home and visiting media, learning team statistics, and working closely with coaches and players, her experience gave her an isight into her future career.
"I definitely have found a passion for sports marketing, so that is the direction I am heading now," she said.
In fact, Medina's post-graduation plans include attending a graduate program in sports managment.
A sports fan, Medina says the continuous change and fast pace of sports and the business that goes along with it is what attracted her to the field.
"Sports have a way of attracting and brining people together, which I think is exciting to be a part of."
