Residential Life

Students hang out in a dorm room. The Whittier College community is made up of students, faculty and staff who live and work together. Living in Whittier's residential campus community, students will find their pursuit of knowledge enhanced, their range of cultural and social opportunities expanded, and that they will learn not just from each other, but about themselves. In the residence halls, lifelong friendships take root, and the experience can engender a whole new definition of "family" and "home."

RESIDENTIAL LIFE PROGRAM

The paramount mission of the Residential Life program at Whittier College is to provide a quality, safe living-learning environment; we define this as an environment in which all cultures are embraced and the academic success of each student is supported through opportunities to continue learning outside the traditional classroom.

One of our main program goals is to provide excellent customer service. We will listen to and expediently address our residents' needs and concerns, therefore ensuring the best possible residential life experience at Whittier College.
