Governance
The Media Council is a branch of the student government that oversees all student publications and media. The Council consists of student representatives from KPOET, Quaker Campus, Acropolis, and Literary Review, as well as the ASWC President, and three at-large members selected by the Council of Representatives. The Media Council allocates funds to all student publications and media, determines distribution for all student publications, and works with the college to enforce standards for ethical journalism. For more information about the Council, or to review a copy of the by-laws governing student publications and media, please contact the Office of Student Activities, 562.907.4986.
