A "Purple Haze" reigns in the stands during the 2008 Homecoming football game.Always a weekend to remember, Whittier's Homecoming celebration—"Whittier Weekend"—brings together young and old Poets, families of current students and reunioning alumni, for a three-day festival honoring the revered traditions and bright future of the College. Planned events include a Pep Rally & Bonfire, Poet College Sessions, the President's Town Hall, the Homecoming football game, alumni-student sports matchups, the Carnival & BBQ, Society brunches, and Tardeada.
