Access to campus mailboxes: Monday - Friday, 6:30a.m - 10p.m.
Window service (parcels & stamps): Monday - Friday, 8a.m. - 11:30a.m., 1p.m. - 4p.m.

Services & Policies

All incoming mail to the campus comes to the Mail Room, Monday through Friday. Mail is NOT delivered to any of the residence halls. To avoid a delay in receiving mail, students are asked to use their assigned mail box number in all correspondence. Fictitious or pet names are not permissible. The student mailboxes are locked with combination locks. Mail is received on campus in the morning hours and usually distributed to mailboxes by afternoon hours.

Mailbox use is only for enrolled students. If a student has mail addressed to his or her mailbox for a temporary visitor or guest, it must be addressed in care of the student to prevent it from being returned to the sender. The mailbox is not to be used for business enterprise. Outgoing letters and small packages may be placed in the letter slot for mailing. Postage stamps may be purchased, but the Mail Room will not issue money orders, mail parcels or handle registered or certified mail.

The nearest U.S. Post Office is located on the corner of Washington and Bailey in Uptown Whittier. When graduating or leaving campus for the summer, students may have mail forwarded by filling in a change-of-address card, available in the Mail Room. 1st class mail will be forwarded for one year; 3rd class mail will not be forwarded. Mail Room personnel will gladly answer questions or assist with combination or mailbox problems.
