Have you ever wondered what happens to your application or essay once you place it in your mail box? Do you want to know more about how to apply for financial aid? The Offices of Admission and Financial Aid are here to answer these questions and any others you might have regarding your enrollment at Whittier College.

There are seven admission counselors and four financial aid counselors available to work with you and your family. Each admission counselor is assigned to specific territories. We travel to seventeen states and nearly six hundred high schools spreading the Whittier word. These admission counselors will read your file and assist you throughout the application process. So we encourage you to contact your counselor and be involved in the process of applying to an exceptional institution. We want to put a face to the file (come visit!), learn what makes you tick (sports, theater, music, etc), and learn about what you could bring to the classroom and campus community. And if you have questions or concerns about how to afford a Whittier education, our financial aid staff is happy to help you navigate the possibilities for financial assistance. Remember, 87% of our students receive some form of aid; we are here to assist you in finding out what aid you are eligible to receive and in understanding your aid award.

Please do not be afraid to contact us; we promise not to bite and we will be more than happy to answer both you and your family's questions!
