Research & Fieldwork
Faculty in the Political Science Department value our relations with students in and out of the class room, and especially in research projects. Such projects may include work with Fred Bergerson on inter-governmental relations, public policy issues such as homeland security or environmental safety, or the politics of the Vietnam war; Mike McBride on issues relating to the United Nations and the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees; John Neu on gay and lesbian rights; or Deborah Norden on democracy and civil military relations in Latin America and US-Latin American relations. Students can earn money for participation in these projects as part of their work-study opportunities or through exceptional funding.
