music Talent scholarship auditions nearing

(12.21.07) Whittier College is pleased to offer special scholarships to those entering freshmen who demonstrate superior promise in music. Music talent scholarships are valued up to $12,000 and are renewable for four years of study at Whittier College provided the recipient maintains a minimum cumulative G.P.A. of 2.0, enrolls in MUS 70 Introduction to Music Theory and Musicianship (during the freshman year) and is an active participant in at least one of the college's ensembles that utilizes the student's award winning talent.

Talented students who have applied to the College are eligible to apply for these scholarships following a separate application procedure. Please click here for application forms and guidelines. Scholarship auditions will take place on Saturday, March 8, 2008.
Application forms must arrive no later than Friday, February 29, 2008.
