Assessing Learning : Classroom Assessment of Academic Learning Goals

Overview

This task focuses on the classroom assessment of academic learning goals. Teacher candidates submit an assessment plan which includes a clear description of the assessment and the evidence of student learning that is to be collected, information about a class and two focus students, and adaptations to the plan for the focus students. Candidates then analyze the evidence of student learning and reflect on the assessment plan.

Your completed papers will be scored on a scale from 1 to 4, with 4 being the highest and 1 being the lowest. The following are completed and scored examples of papers submitted to fulfill the requirements of the Assessing Learning Task.
