Overview
Teacher candidates demonstrate their ability to connect instructional planning to student characteristics for academic learning. Candidates submit information about a selected class and two focus students and descriptions of how this information is used in instructional planning. After developing a lesson with a clear academic learning goal, adaptations for two focus students are described and justified.
