The Center for Academic Success (CAS) exists to support all students in achieving academic success: to help under-prepared students prepare, to help prepared students advance, and to help advanced students excel. CAS provides individual academic counseling, tutoring, supplemental instruction, a computer learning lab, and instructional workshops.

Through individual academic counseling, students receive personalized assistance to assess learning styles and develop study skills. Tutoring and supplemental instruction are available, free of charge, for most classes through student leaders who are committed to helping their peers. The computer learning lab is equipped with Internet access as well as a comprehensive software program designed to diagnose and improve basic skills in reading, writing, language, and math. In addition, workshops are given throughout the year on topics such as time management, stress, motivation, and more.
