3-3 Law Program
3-3 LAW PROGRAM
Program Advisor: John Neu
ABOUT THE program
This accelerated program identifies prospective and current students who, based
upon their performance as undergraduates at Whittier College, are eligible for early
admission into Whittier Law School, located on a separate campus in Orange County. A bachelor's degree will be awarded upon
the satisfactory completion of thirty (30) transferable units of work at Whittier Law
School.
Any student may enter into the program at any time during their matriculation. If at the end of three years at Whittier College the student has achieved at least a 3.0 G.P.A. and is in the upper 50 percent of those who take the LSAT (Law School Admission Test), that student will be eligible for admission to Whittier Law School. The student will be admitted if he or she otherwise meets the criteria of admission to Whittier Law School.
The 3-3 student must, by the end of the third year at Whittier College, have completed all of the liberal education requirements and all of the required courses in their chosen major before they take their first year at Whittier Law School. In addition, they must have completed 90 units.
