Background: Shauna has 12 years of experience working in student affairs specifically in the areas of student activities and residential life. Shauna worked at Azusa Pacific University, Pomona College, Chapman University, and University of the Pacific before joining the staff at Whittier College. Prior to working in higher education Shauna spent 4 years in working at production/multi-media companies doing lighting design, performing arts, and videoconferencing work.

Other Interests: Shauna enjoys Latin partnered dancing, Bikram yoga, being outdoors, and Disney/Hallmark movies

She was a member and officer of Phi Sigma Sigma sorority, served as a new student orientation leader as well as both Executive Vice President & Vice President of Communications of student government. Prior to joining the Poet family, Debbie worked at Pomona College where she advised the College’s Program Board.

Other Interests: Debbie enjoys playing with her 3 year old Chihuahua Chewie, trying new restaurants, and watching reality TV.
