A Look At: Student Athletes

Senior Travis Driskell (CA) isn’t just a football defensive back for the Whittier Poets (yes, that’s right, Poets), he is a 1st Team All-Conference selection and second on the squad in tackles (88). He’s also vice-president of the Physics honor society Sigma Pi Sigma, an intern at the Aerospace Corporation working on atomic clocks, and a tutor in the Physics department. And when he isn’t hosting star-gazing trips or sci-fi movie nights in his role as president of the Physics Club, he plays intramural soccer and basketball. Travis knows that no school does ‘’well rounded’’ better than Whittier.
