Clubs & Organizations

The Environmental Science Program offers students the opportunity to participate in a variety of clubs and organizations that promote academic and professional growth, and, more importantly, connect students to peers who want to have fun and build upon their passions. Recognized student clubs and organizations affiliated with the program are listed below.

Whittier College Sustainability Club (WCSC)

The focus of WCSC is to raise awareness on how to manage a healthy and sustainable lifestyle. Through projects, fundraising, and field trips we will incorporate this idea into our community with the goal to become productive members of our society. Contact: sustainability@poets.whittier.edu

Poets Food Recovery Network

Poets Food Recovery Network is a chapter of The Food Recovery Network (F.R.N.), the largest nonprofit student movement against food waste and hunger in America. We focus on eliminating food waste at our college campus cafeteria and distribute excess food to organizations nearby that feed those in need. Contact: frn@poets.whittier.edu
